Look out for these Siemens speakers at the 2024 ASEE Annual Conference

The Siemens Global Academic Team is excited to join the upcoming annual conference on “The Future of Engineering Education.” Happening from June 23-26, this four-day event is the largest gathering of engineering educators in the U.S., hosted by the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) in Portland, Oregon.

As the leading collaborator between academia and industry, Siemens addresses the rising demand for advanced manufacturing, engineering and computing skills in the digital era. Join us at our speaker events during the conference to learn how Siemens is nurturing a future workforce with a digital mindset through innovation and strategic partnerships, while also providing opportunities to network with Siemens professionals.

In addition to speaker events, prepare for networking opportunities at a career fair with institutions like Siemens Digital Industries Software, Tufts University and Virginia Tech, catering to students, postdocs, professors and graduates seeking academic or private sector roles.

June 22, 2024, 8:30 AM TO 10:00 AM

Prior to the official start of the conference, educators in PreK-12 can attend the teacher conference on Saturday, June 22 to explore this year’s theme: “Increasing and diversifying access to STEM.”

Through Siemens’ Hour of Engineering, our Director of STEM Programs Elizabeth Simpson will demonstrate how educators can integrate online learning with hands-on offline activities suitable for all students. By actively participating in the activities, teachers can identify optimal individual or group tasks and create an implementation plan to apply methods in their classrooms.

There’s still time to register for the conference. All members and nonmembers of ASEE––students, educators and professionals––can register here. If attending, check out the Siemens booth on site.
