KEMI reported 30 companies to prosecutors for enforcement action.<\/LI><br \/>\n<LI>Product testing by 7 countries across Europe in 2016 found that 24% of USB cables were non-compliant to RoHS substance restrictions. Product testing by KEMI in Sweden found that 40% of USB cables also contained REACH substances of very high concern (SVHCs) which companies had not disclosed to consumers.<\/LI><br \/>\n<LI>The high percentage of non-compliant cables in 2016 is surprising in view of the enforcement action taken against Sony in 2001.
