Teamcenter Share\u2019s continuous enhancements provide the tools you need to stay ahead. From improved task tagging and project navigation to expanded support for CAD file types, these updates are tailored to meet the evolving demands of your projects and teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Task management<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Several enhancements have been added to improve task management and overall project efficiency. These updates focus on providing users with greater control over task organization, streamlined navigation and improved visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add tags to tasks for easy filtering. Personalize the order of task card in the Kanban view. Quickly identify passed deadlines tasks in both Kanban and List views with overdue tasks highlighted in red.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tags. <\/strong>To facilitate more effective task management, the ability to tag tasks for easy filtering has been added. This allows users to categorize tasks more completely, making it simpler to locate and prioritize work within your projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kanban reordering. <\/strong>The Teamcenter Share Kanban View has been improved, allowing you to rearrange task cards vertically. This enables you to customize the order of tasks according to priority, with the assurance that your personalized layout will be preserved across sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project navigation. <\/strong>Users can now navigate directly from a task to its associated project with a single click. Available in both the Kanban and List views this enhancement ensures that users can maintain a clear overview of project statuses at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notifications. <\/strong>Task notifications have been refined to enhance their clarity and relevance. The subject lines of email notifications now include task names, making it easier to identify important updates quickly. Notifications have also been streamlined, removing unnecessary alerts, allowing you, your team and your customers to focus on the most critical information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deadline management. <\/strong>Overdue tasks are now highlighted in red, ensuring they are immediately noticeable. This feature is integrated into both the Kanban and List views, providing consistent visibility across different task management perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due dates. <\/strong>For traceability and accurate record-keeping, users can now assign previous due dates to tasks. The new flexibility to backdate tasks helps maintain a clear and accurate project history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

View and markup<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Solid Edge (assemblies), STEP (parts and assemblies), CATIA V4 (parts and assemblies) and CATIA V5 (parts) are now supported by Teamcenter Share, giving users the ability to view and markup even more CAD file types. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These additional file types add to the ever-growing view and markup roster inside Teamcenter Share, which also includes images, PDFs (2D), JT files, Capital electrical design, NX (drawings, parts and assemblies), Solid Edge (drafts and parts), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), SolidWorks (parts and assemblies), PTC Creo (parts) and Autodesk Inventor (parts) HyperLynx, DM PLMX, OBJ, IGES and STL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teamcenter Share allows users to view, measure and mark up models in a 3D, engineering-centric space. Markups and comments are completely traceable and available online and from within your design software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project management<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Managing projects is now easier with the ability to mark projects as \u201cComplete,\u201d signaling the conclusion of work and finalizing all associated tasks. Users can also clear due dates as needed, offering greater flexibility in managing timelines. By marking projects complete, users can exclude them from your dashboard, keeping focus on active and ongoing projects while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enhanced multi-user support provides automated guidance when another user is accessing a CAD model. This feature prompts you to save a copy or create a revision, ensuring that all team members can work efficiently without overwriting each other\u2019s contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
