Their latest model, the Tremonia City 75 ELECTRIC<\/strong>, is a testament to that evolution and was recently rewarded as the International Minibus of the Year 2025 at the International Bus and Coach Fair (FIAA) in Madrid. Fully electric and capable of transporting up to 34 passengers with a range of 300 kilometers (190 miles), this vehicle embodies the future of emission-free public transport. Municipalities and transport operators like Germany\u2019s Potsdam Bus and V\u00f6lklinger Verkehrsbetriebe GmbH are already integrating these buses into their fleets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The City 75 ELECTRIC was the quietest minibus in the test. It’s easy to drive, offers comfortable entry, flexible seating configurations, and state-of-the-art safety features. Its powerful electric motor ensures a good range, and its length of 8.5 meters offers ample space for 34 passengers.<\/p>\nJury President Tom Terjesen in his laudatory speech, naming the Tremonia City 75 ELECTRIC<\/strong> the Minibus of the Year 2025<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Following their departure from Daimler, Tremonia faced the challenge of migrating nearly three terabytes of legacy design data. Their solution? A dual-software strategy that combines Designcenter NX<\/a><\/strong> for advanced design and Designcenter Solid Edge<\/a><\/strong> for rapid, intuitive development, both part of the Siemens Mechanical Design bundle<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSolid Edge gave us the flexibility and freedom we needed to reestablish our development environment independently,\u201d says Christian W\u00fcnsch<\/strong>, Head of R&D and Product Management at Tremonia. \u201cIt\u2019s intuitive, powerful, and ideal for a fast-moving company like ours.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The transition was supported by Siemens Solution Partner ISAP AG<\/a><\/strong>, which provided essential services like data migration, infrastructure setup, and staff training. Within just two weeks, Tremonia\u2019s 12-person design team\u2014spread across Germany and India\u2014was fully operational in Solid Edge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solid Edge\u2019s Synchronous Technology<\/a><\/strong> also plays a key role, enabling Tremonia to make quick modifications to parts and assemblies\u2014critical when working with large data sets and adapting existing designs to new configurations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
