And, bragging rights aside, I got a chance to go behind the scenes during the press days. This, of course, is pretty fun because:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0You don\u2019t have to fight massive crowds (just lots of people with really fancy camera equipment and other reporters elbowing for pictures and interviews.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0You actually get to see the final end result of what <span style=\"color: #375d81\"><u><span style=\"color: #375d81\"><u><a href=\"http:\/\/www.plm.automation.siemens.com\/fr_be\/products\/lms\/engineering\/vehicle-nvh-acoustics-solutions.shtml#lightview%26uri=tcm:661-221120%26title=LMS-Solutions-for-NVH-Acoustics-and-Comfort-Brochure-39454%26docType=pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">LMS solutions<\/a>\u00a0<\/u><\/span><\/u><\/span>do for the automotive \u00a0industry \u2013 everything from fine-tuning NVH and simulating engines to controls engineering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0You get to catch up with some old friends, meet new ones and, well, soak up lots of inspiration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We\u2019ll be blogging about different things that we\u2019ve seen on a regular basis the next couple of weeks so stay tuned. So whenever I get a chance I make sure to go check out what Ford is doing because it is always innovative and forward-thinking. Speaking of which there is a pretty interesting case study online about Ford\u2019s new way of testing, validating and managing the software content that goes into its vehicles with its In Vehicle Software (IVS) program based on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.plm.automation.siemens.com\/en_sg\/products\/teamcenter\/index.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #375d81\"><u>Teamcenter\u00ae <\/u><\/span><\/a>digital lifecycle management solution from Siemens PLM Software. Of course, everyone expects the Italian supercars to steal the show, but what you probably don\u2019t know is that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plm.automation.siemens.com\/CaseStudyWeb\/dispatch\/viewResource.html?resourceId=43541\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #375d81\"><u>LMS Imagine.Lab Amesim <\/u><\/span><\/a>helped Automobili Lamborghini create the Aventador LP700-4 driveline concept design.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inspiration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.plm.automation.siemens.com\/nl_nl\/about_us\/success\/case_study.cfm?Component=222088&amp;ComponentTemplate=1481\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-right\" style=\"width: 209px\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Geneva_show_2jpg.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.sw.siemens.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/09\/Geneva_show_2jpg-3.jpg\" alt=\"Geneva_show_2jpg.jpg\" width=\"209\" height=\"228\" \/><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Citro\u00ebn stand won the best stand award according to yours truly.
