Enhanced tooling and support for live updates provide greater flexibility and configurability

We are excited to announce that the latest version of Opcenter Execution Medical Device and Diagnostics Version 8.2 has been released!

Opcenter Execution Medical Device and Diagnostics version 8.2 delivers powerful new enhancements and features to improve the application’s configurability and security. The ability to apply live application updates while the server is running provides optimized uptime for the application. Enhanced tools deliver powerful and simplified configurability. Key security enhancements, such as prevention of structured query language (SQL) injection attacks and prevention of cross-site scripting attacks, provide an even higher level of security. Our expanded internationalization library allows users whose native language is French to easily use the application. Finally, our expanded set of supported technologies offers you access to the most up-to-date set of technologies.

Opcenter Execution Medical Device and Diagnostics Version 8.2 delivers the following capabilities:

  • Supports running a database update to update the metadata without needing to bring down the application Server
  • Enhanced tooling
  • Increases security enhancements to prevent SQL injection attacks
  • Removes the Optimize Uptime checkbox from Management Studio
  • Enhances the Transaction Tester installer to install additionally needed DLLs
