Dreamforce 2026: Siemens and Salesforce Driving Innovation and Transforming Manufacturing Business
What a week! Dreamforce 2026 was pure energy, and the Siemens-Salesforce collaboration was at the very heart of it! From the moment Siemens CEO Roland Busch joined Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff on the opening keynote stage, the message was clear: the convergence of PLM, CRM, and AI isn’t just coming—it’s here, and it is driving an unprecedented evolution in industrial innovation.

Where Manufacturing Meets Aftermarket Intelligence
The Siemens and Salesforce Manufacturing Lounge returned for its second year as a central hub for manufacturing innovation. It was the definitive destination for discussions on digital transformation in aftermarket business leveraging the combined strength of the Siemens and Salesforce PLM, CRM, and AI ecosystem. There was a lot of buzz and excitement in the lounge, especially during the presence of Roland Busch, who had thoughtful conversations about Teamcenter Service Lifecycle Management (SLM) for Salesforce.

Another nice treat in the lounge was the delivery of a fireside chat with Siemens and Salesforce sustainability thought leaders Eryn Devola, Sunya Norman, and Ines Giovannini.

Theater sessions delivered by Siemens, Salesforce, TeamViewer, Vigience, Valantic and manufacturing industry leader Miele – all provided insights on aftermarket transformations – leveraging the power of Teamcenter and Salesforce.

Designed for manufacturers looking to transform their aftermarket business models, the lounge provided a unique destination to gather insights from peers, partners, industry experts, solution owners and thought leaders. It was also a nice spot to grab a coffee, relax in the outdoor space, and talk to fellow Dreamforce movers and shakers.
Throughout the event, the lounge hosted:
- Thought Leadership Theater Sessions: Expert-led sessions and fireside chats featuring leaders from Siemens, Salesforce, industry partners, and customers.
- Solution Demonstrations: Live showcases of AI-powered tools that help manufacturers increase revenue, reduce operational costs, and gain long-term customer loyalty.
- Strategic Networking: Plenty of espresso beverages and a few lively happy hours provided a space for peers to connect and discuss the shift from traditional aftermarket business models to high-margin revenue streams.
The Power of Three: PLM, CRM, and AI
A recurring theme at Dreamforce 2026 was the strategic value of integrating Siemens’ engineering intelligence with Salesforce’s customer-facing workflows. By combining PLM, CRM, and AI, manufacturers can transition their aftermarket divisions from cost centers into resilient revenue engines.
Key benefits highlighted include:
- Operational Efficiency: Achieving higher first-time-fix rates and optimized spare parts management.
- Financial Growth: Accelerating asset monetization and compressing the opportunity-to-quote cycle.
- Enhanced Service: Empowering teams with precise, timely data to drive customer satisfaction.
The Evolution of Teamcenter SLM for Salesforce
During the event, Siemens and Salesforce introduced an exciting new feature of the Teamcenter SLM for Salesforce app – agent to agent intelligence. By combining Agentforce with Siemens’ Industrial AI – the Teamcenter Service Lifecycle Management (SLM) agent, Siemens and Salesforce are helping industrial companies become agentic enterprises at scale — putting engineering-grade answers directly into sales, service, and customer workflows.

Read the Salesforce press release on the Siemens and Salesforce partnership and how it is redefining sales and service in manufacturing.
Salesforce agents can retrieve complex product data directly from Teamcenter without needing engineering intervention. By bringing engineering intelligence into customer-facing workflows, companies can provide faster, more accurate responses, significantly reducing resolution times and enhancing the overall customer experience.
A Conversation with Roland Busch and Marc Benioff
Another Dreamforce event highlight was the participation of Roland Busch in Marc Benioff’s Dreamforce fireside chat titled “A Conversation with Roland Busch and Marc Benioff.”
From the factory floor to the customer experience, Busch and Benioff explored how Industrial AI is driving innovation and transforming business models for tomorrow. They discussed the real-world impact of AI in making manufacturing more sustainable, efficient, and customer-centric.
