Amsterdam, a city renowned for its ground-breaking innovations from the world’s first stock exchange to its pioneering 3D-printed bridge, provided the perfect backdrop for Realize LIVE Europe’s largest gathering yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Realize LIVE Americas, Northrup Grumman’s Adam Shepherd in his keynote talked of: \u2018Siemens is a key wingman\u2019, with the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio providing a digital thread backbone.\u00a0 Bob shared how Siemens is evolving the traditional Bill of Materials (BOM) to a sophisticated Bill of Information (BOI) approach. With current statistics showing only 5% of captured data being utilized, Bob highlighted the critical need for modern systems that can handle unprecedented complexity. Through structured data and a robust Digital Thread backbone, organizations can now leverage AI to create seamless connections from design through to the shop floor, marking a new era in digital innovation. ASML followed on the mainstage with Jan Jaap Kuit, Vice President, D&E Mechanical Development and Casper Baghuis, IT head of Product Lifecycle Management sharing their digital transformation journey from a handful of engineers to 26,000 seats of Teamcenter.\u00a0 There an no legacy systems holding this company back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier in the day, attendees packed rooms for the biggest ever offering of hands-on training in Europe.\u00a0 Covering topics as diverse as building low-code applications with Mendix to \u2018From Gears to Ears \u2013 where Simcenter eDrive engineering meets sound\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Student Design Hack also kicked off, with just 48 hours for the teams to solve an engineering challenge using the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
