Today we will continue on the subject of Polarion’s MedPack extension<\/A>, and have a look into MedPack’s Software Requirement<\/EM> Work Item type.<\/p>\n

Software Requirement<\/H1>

Description<\/H3>
\nA software requirement according to clause 5.2.1 of IEC 62304:2006. Any issue of this type must be linked to its source, which is either a system requirement or a change request and to the architectural design that implements the requirement.

\nA Software Requirement Work Item must be traceable to either a System Requirement<\/SPAN> Work Item, a Risk Control Measure<\/SPAN> Work Item or a Change Request<\/SPAN> Work Item and has an impact on a Architectural Design<\/SPAN> Work Item and aSoftware System Test<\/SPAN> Work Item.
