You would also consider how the product will serve you now and in the future. These are common questions that most people ask before spending a lot of money on something. But what if the product you are buying is not just a car, but a mobility solution? What if the way you move around is changing, and so are your expectations and desires?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s what to expect \ud83d\udc47<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why we might need to re-think car buying<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-background\" style=\"background-color:#009999\">Fast Fact: The average car on this planet stands still for 96% of the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lynk &amp; Co has been following their research from seven years ago and it confirms a fascinating trend in the US, Europe, and China: people are shifting their time from buying cars to sharing cars. Cars are less about ownership and more about experience. It\u2019s evident everywhere \u2014 people enjoy yoga, sports, trips, instead of just accumulating stuff. And of course, when they focus more on their activities, rather than their possessions, they also become more open to lend what they have because it\u2019s not that meaningful to them anymore. They don\u2019t want to necessarily go out and take a loan for $40,000 and pay it over seven years. I don\u2019t think they really want to lease a car for three or four years and be stuck with it.
