He began his career trackside with the Jaguar Racing Formula 1 team in 2002 and quickly stepped up to the role of Project Engineer following the team\u2019s acquisition by Red Bull in 2005. At Red Bull Racing Rob became Development Group Leader and Head of Drivetrain Engineering before rising to Head of R&amp;D Projects in 2009. Rob was later appointed Deputy Chief Designer and eventually Chief Designer. Responsibilities include strategic planning and business development in areas of design of autonomous\/connected vehicles, lightweight automotive structures and interiors. He is also responsible for Future Car thought leadership which includes hosting the Future Car Podcast and development of cross divisional projects.
