In Hall 27<\/a>, the Siemens booth is focusing on how Industrial AI can help companies navigate the modern manufacturing landscape.  The Digital Enterprise Showcase, the Innovation Hub, and the Technology Deep Dive are the areas where you can experience how Industrial AI can be used today to solve real world problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Innovation Hub \u2013 AI in real-world examples<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Innovation Hub is where you can see an actual end-to-end example of how artificial intelligence and copilots work in Siemens software to augment design and manufacturing.  Using the example of a modern athletic shoe sole, the demonstrations in the Innovation Hub will show design, manufacturing, and data management in an AI enabled environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Functions like command prediction, geometry recognition, selection prediction, and copilots make the job of designing and manufacturing products much easier in a modern context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designers often face complex decisions during the design process where there are multiple ways to achieve a desired goal, but which path to take is unclear.  The design portion of the demonstrations in the Innovation Hub utilize AI to aid in this decision-making process.  The Designcenter X NX Copilot allows users to ask natural language questions about a design and receive answers about the possible ways to achieve the desired design goal.<\/p>\n\n\n

Similarly, in manufacturing, the best way to program a series of manufacturing operations isn\u2019t always obvious.\u00a0 The new AI Make Machining Suggestion<\/a> copilot gives CNC programmers multiple options for machining specific areas of a part.\u00a0 In the Innovation Hub at Hannover Messe, you can see how this exciting new capability in NX X Manufacturing shortens the CNC programming time for a given operation, reducing the number of decisions and manual work instructions that a CNC programmer must make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The demonstrations follow two parallel tracks where both the midsole and outsole of an athletic shoe are designed and manufactured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The midsole uses custom data from the customer\u2019s own anatomy and uses for the shoe to design a unique midsole that only fits that customer\u2019s needs.  Additive manufacturing is used to manufacture the midsole as this is technology that works well for custom products and small lot sizes.<\/p>\n\n\n

Conversely, the outsole is a mass-manufactured part that utilizes injection molding for production.  The machining of the mold cores is expedited by the use of the new AI Make Machining Suggestion copilot to recommend machining operations for production of the core.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manufacturing in the Technology Deep Dive area<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the center of the Siemens booth is the Technology Deep Dive area.  Here you can explore in more detail the various aspects of Siemens products and services.  Each station in the Technology Deep Dive area discusses a specific solution area and a multitude of topics are covered, including manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Technology Deep Dive area is appropriately named because it gives you the opportunity to dive deeper into various parts of the Siemens portfolio.  Here you can talk with experts and get more detailed information not just about manufacturing, but also design, simulation, and more.  The Technology Deep Dive gives you the opportunity to focus on areas of interest, but also to get a deeper understanding of areas of Siemens portfolio that you don\u2019t use or need today, but might need tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Siemens and Microsoft<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As you explore Hannover Messe 2026, be sure to also stop by the Microsoft booth where you can again see Siemens AI technologies at work in an example of design, robotics, manufacturing, and planning.  Siemens partners with Microsoft as their Azure platform is an underlying technology behind many Siemens solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main display in the Microsoft booth is another demonstration of how artificial intelligence, powered by Siemens and Microsoft, can be used to design and manufacture a product.  In this case, the products in question are parts for a robotic servo system used to power industrial robotics.<\/p>\n\n\n

Again, the power of AI is used to design and manufacture the parts in question, and the entire digital thread is powered by the Azure cloud.  This allows teams to collaborate throughout the production process and also ensures that their operations can easily scale as the demands of their business grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
