However, the user input is essential and critical since he must provide to NX the features to machine, the number of setups, the position and orientation of the CAD model in each of those setups, etc., which can lead to multiple user errors. The NXOpen CAM automation that we have developed completely replaces the contribution of the user. The latter needs only to specify the Blank and the CAD model. The automation will find the optimal number of setups, the list of tools and operations as well as the time needed to manufacture the CAD from the Blank. The automation generates also the G-Code and the Shop Documentation. Using that NXOpen tool will transform your part manufacturing business to gain productivity and increase profitability.

Learning Objectives:

Identify solutions to meet business challenges

Increase productivity and proficiency with current/future software

Optimize the use of existing software

Louis Corriveau, MAYA HTT

Presenter, Louis Corriveau, Senior PLM Solution Architect, MAYA HTT

Date: Thursday, June 13, 11:15 AM – 12:00 PM, Location: 335

Check out the list of demonstrations and a breakout session featuring Prismatic Part Manufacturing with NX CAM software. Put these sessions on your agenda and learn from the experts!
&nb…

[1
169,206
["post-525","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","tag-computer-aided-manufacturing-cam","tag-prismatic-parts-machining
["GET
