Siemens Digital Industries Software and Sandvik<\/a> are forming a strategic technology and business partnership to accelerate digital innovation for our part manufacturing customers by combining our domain expertise, software technology and long-standing relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership will enable customers to expand digitalization of the manufacturing process by providing close integration and interoperability of Sandvik\u2019s TDM Systems and Metrologic<\/a> <\/strong>products with Siemens NX CAM<\/a>, NX CMM<\/a> and Teamcenter Manufacturing Resource Library<\/a> (MRL).\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, Siemens customers will have extended access to advanced tool management automation capabilities of TDM Systems<\/a>, as well as 3D measurement methods of Metrolog X4 by Metrologic Group<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the ongoing collaboration between Siemens and Sandvik will foster extended use of manufacturing data, including quality measurements, and machine and tool condition. Using data analytics to find correlation of this information to equipment performance and usage, will drive significant improvements in part manufacturing efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
