{"id":4217,"date":"2021-04-09T10:35:29","date_gmt":"2021-04-09T14:35:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.sw.siemens.com\/nx-design\/?p=4217"},"modified":"2026-03-26T04:29:58","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T08:29:58","slug":"nx-helps-supacat-connect-to-the-global-australian-supply-chain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.sw.siemens.com\/nx-design\/nx-helps-supacat-connect-to-the-global-australian-supply-chain\/","title":{"rendered":"NX helps Supacat connect to the global Australian supply chain"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/supacat.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Supacat<\/a>, a design and engineering specialist of high mobility defense vehicles, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.manmonthly.com.au\/news\/supacat-selects-siemens-software-enhance-capability-defence-land-400-program\/?utm_source=dlvr.it&amp;utm_medium=linkedin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">has selected Siemens Digital Industries Software<\/a> to boost engagement with Rheinmetall on Australia\u2019s LAND 400 defense program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NX Design and <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.sw.siemens.com\/teamcenter\/\">Teamcenter<\/a> will now enable Supacat to better align their engineering processes with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rheinmetall-defence.com\/en\/rheinmetall_defence\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rheinmetall<\/a>, strengthen data governance and improve overall efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The same software suite that is part of Siemens\u2019 Xcelerator portfolio, was also recently chosen by the U.S. Air Force to standardize their digital journey and product lifecycle management (PLM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Managing director Asia Pacific for Supacat, Michael Halloran, welcomed the collaboration with Siemens saying \u201c<em>Supacat can manage their engineering design process and product data in an integrated single-source environment<\/em>,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Supacat will use NX to model and analyze products in 3D in a process that is integrated into the Teamcenter PLM system.
