CES show<\/A> in Las Vegas Nevada, you know that in addition to <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/4K_resolution\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">4K televisions<\/A>, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/3D_printing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">3D printing<\/A> is one of the most exciting new technologies being highlighted at the show.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>The earliest use of 3D printing was in rapid prototyping (RP) during the late 1980s and early 1990s.But 3D printed parts were&nbsp;fragile and&nbsp;machines&nbsp;very expensive.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Today, the cost of machines has decreased&nbsp;significantly.A machine that cost $20,000 a few years ago, can&nbsp;now be purchased for about $1,000.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Most 3D printers were used for building prototypes for the medical, aerospace, engineering and automotive industries.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pcworld.com\/article\/2064271\/rolls-royce-weighs-3d-printers-to-make-jet-engine-parts.html#tk.rss_all\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Rolls-Royce is considering using 3D printing technology<\/A> to create lighter components for its jet engines.<\/P><br \/>\n<P><SPAN style=\"line-height: 18px;\">&nbsp;<\/SPAN><\/P><br \/>\n<P>Some companies like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/business\/2014\/jan\/06\/fighter-jet-flies-with-3d-printed-parts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">BAE systems believe that 3D technology can be used to design and produce parts<\/A> that could cut the Royal Air Force&#8217;s maintenance and service bill by over \u00a31.2m over the next four years.<\/P><br \/>\n<P><span class=\"lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-center\" style=\"width: 267px;\"><img decoding=\"async\"
