For example, that means you can move one curve and any others that are collinear just with a single <strong>Move Curve<\/strong> command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also select an axis or curve as the symmetry axis for the move operation. NX will retain symmetry when move your selected curves so you don&#8217;t have to judge it manually or adjust afterwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Offset Move Curve<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Offset Move Curve<\/strong> moves a whole set of sketch curves by offsetting them a specified distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As with Move Curve, NX will automatically adjust relations and adjacent curves in the sketch if necessary. It also has the same Curve Finder and symmetry axis functionality adding extra utility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the video above, Scott shows how useful the <strong>Curve Finder<\/strong> can be. <br><br>He wants to offset a set of curves, but this would detach them from the rest of the sketch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"630\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.sw.siemens.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/08\/offset-move-curve-1-1024x630.png\" alt=\"A screenshot of NX software showing the Offset Move Curve command in use.
