This is just the initial launch that is starting in the US and UK &#8230; and you will need a credit card.<BR \/><BR \/>Here are some catches we don\u2019t have:<BR \/><UL><BR \/><UL><BR \/>\t<LI>There is no obligation to rent for more than one month.<\/LI><BR \/>\t<LI>You pay by credit card online and download online. No need to talk to a salesman.<\/LI><BR \/>\t<LI>There is no requirement to be connected to the internet to run (although the internet might come in handy to download the software and get the next month\u2019s license)<\/LI><BR \/>\t<LI>Support for the software?&nbsp; Yep, that is included.<\/LI><BR \/><\/UL><BR \/><\/UL><BR \/><!--more--><BR \/><BR \/>Basically, Siemens&nbsp;PLM is providing customers a new option for getting access to Solid Edge. Options are good because not everyone needs the same thing:<BR \/><UL><BR \/><UL><BR \/>\t<LI>Let\u2019s say you need to add a new seat for the coop that will be here for the next threemonths.&nbsp; This is much cheaper.<\/LI><BR \/>\t<LI>Have a small company on a budget but need serious CAD software? Problem solved.<\/LI><BR \/>\t<LI>Are you contracting and needing to have Solid Edge for just a few months?&nbsp; Check.<\/LI><BR \/><\/UL><BR \/><\/UL><BR \/>There are options to these options too.&nbsp; Solid Edge is offered at four different levels starting at $130 a month.
