Today Jonathan and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wcastl.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Westminster <\/A>Cyborg Cats will be at the FIRST Robotics National Championship. They won the <A href=\"http:\/\/www.usfirst.org\/roboticsprograms\/frc\/rookie-team-criteria\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Rookie All-Star Award<\/A> at the regional competition, which advanced them to the national competition.<BR \/><BR \/><IFRAME width=\"425\" height=\"355\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/2sEMtEx4Ysc\"><\/IFRAME><BR \/><BR \/><!--more--><BR \/><BR \/>Lisa Harding, Jonathan\u2019s science teacher, said he introduced her and the school to FIRST Robotics. He helped start the school\u2019s first science club. Within six months that club was building robots and holding its own FIRST-like competitions.<BR \/><BR \/>Jonathan designed the robot in NX. He had learned the CAD program last Spring. Siemens PLM employee Jeff Schultz teaches NX at Westminster.
