He is a third year student of <A href=\"http:\/\/www.vsu.ru\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Voronezh State Engineering University<\/A>. He created his the project \u201cSportcar Star Way\u201d with NX.<BR \/><BR \/><!--more--><BR \/><BR \/><A rel=\"attachment wp-att-11457 nofollow noopener noreferrer\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.industrysoftware.automation.siemens.com\/blog\/2012\/08\/01\/meet-future-engineer-igor-karmakov\/star_way-sm\/\"><\/A><BR \/><BR \/><A rel=\"attachment wp-att-11461 nofollow noopener noreferrer\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.industrysoftware.automation.siemens.com\/blog\/2012\/08\/01\/meet-future-engineer-igor-karmakov\/star_way-sm-2\/\"><IMG class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11461\" src=\"http:\/\/community.plm.automation.siemens.com\/legacyfs\/online\/wordpress\/images\/2012\/07\/Star_Way-sm1.jpg\" alt=\"Siemens PLM student design contest\" width=\"537\" height=\"288\" \/><\/A><BR \/><BR \/>Igor submitted his design in our first ever \u201dDaring Ideas\u201d student design contest held in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. The objective was to discover research and creative ideas of engineering students who use modern design technologies.<BR \/><BR \/><STRONG>Please tell us about the project and challenges you faced.<\/STRONG><BR \/><\/P><BLOCKQUOTE>\u201cDesigning Star Way took me two months. Time was running out so quickly, I was working nights, as I had to combine working and studying. The most tense moment of the project was the car body bypass design. It was inspired by Volkswagen Golf Scirocco.\u201d<\/BLOCKQUOTE><BR \/><STRONG>What are your plans for the future? Will winning in the contest impact your career?<\/STRONG><BR \/><BLOCKQUOTE>\u201cI am sure that winning won`t go unnoticed. Everything that happens in life leaves its trace, every single step is important for the present and for the future. I adore 3D-modeling and am going to advance in this direction in the future. My goal is to become a top expert in this sphere. That`s why I am looking for a worthy job tightly related to the 3D modeling.
