The 2011 F1 in Schools\u2122 World Finals begins Monday and students will travel from all 4 corners of the globe to be in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for this prestigious annual event.<\/BLOCKQUOTE><BR \/>That&#8217;s the headline in F1 in Schools <a title=\"F1 in Schools\" href=\"http:\/\/www.f1inschools.com\/news--2011-f1-in-schools-world-finals-races-into-malaysia-next-week.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">recent press release<\/A> about the 2011 championship. As a long time support of this organization, Siemens is excited about this event as we watch future engineers test what they&#8217;ve learned using CAD\/CAM and CFD technology. Here\u2019s a sneak peek at two of the 23 teams. These two teams used <A href=\"http:\/\/www.plm.automation.siemens.com\/en_us\/products\/velocity\/solidedge\/index.shtml\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Solid Edge<\/A> to design their cars. These students had to over come time zones to virtually&nbsp;collaborate to design, manufacture and test their car!<BR \/>100% of the car was designed in <A href=\"http:\/\/www.plm.automation.siemens.com\/en_us\/products\/velocity\/solidedge\/index.shtml\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Solid Edge<\/A> ST2. Aixtreme also used Solid Edge for the design of their car.
