Additional presentations from development and marketing as well as live demonstrations were shown during the conference.<BR \/><BR \/>The first session of the Plant Simulation User Conference was done by Jeff Miller, <A href=\"http:\/\/www.siemens.com\/tecnomatix\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Tecnomatix<\/A> Marketing Manager. He provided an overview about the <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/16ypww\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Plant Design and Optimization<\/A> solution. <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/4EbQ1c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Plant Simulation<\/A> is a major component of this solution.<BR \/><BR \/><A href=\"http:\/\/siemens.pmhclients.com\/images\/uploads\/WindowsLiveWriterDesigningandOptimizingFactories_11983IMG_3105.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><\/A><BR \/><BR \/><A href=\"http:\/\/community.plm.automation.siemens.com\/legacyfs\/online\/wordpress\/images\/2009\/11\/WindowsLiveWriterDesigningandOptimizingFactories_11983IMG_3105_thumb.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><IMG class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1787\" src=\"http:\/\/community.plm.automation.siemens.com\/legacyfs\/online\/wordpress\/images\/2009\/11\/WindowsLiveWriterDesigningandOptimizingFactories_11983IMG_3105_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"WindowsLiveWriterDesigningandOptimizingFactories_11983IMG_3105_thumb\" width=\"304\" height=\"229\" \/><\/A><BR \/><BR \/>The use of the <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/16ypww\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Plant Design and Optimization<\/A> solution enables you to design factories in 3D (which is actually faster than the design in 2D due to smart objects).
