I did not but was interested to learn more about how he did his job. He\u2019s been so busy gathering customer requirements for NX 8 that he dodged an interview several times. But I caught up with him today.<BR \/><BR \/>Ashley has the fun and sometimes tough job of gather requirements from customers and then figuring out how we build what they need into our product in a way that serves many customers.<BR \/><BR \/><A href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/origamiancy\/3805975778\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><IFRAME width=\"425\" height=\"355\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/mcpcz-qpYU8\"><\/IFRAME><\/A><BR \/><BR \/>He told me one idea that came from a customer turned into the <A href=\"http:\/\/www.plm.automation.siemens.com\/en_us\/Images\/nx flexible printed circuit design (pcd) fs W 3_tcm1023-4295.pdf\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">NX Flexible Printed Circuit Design software<\/A>. The customer designs cameras and does what Ashley called \u201celectronic origami,\u201d folding PCBs (printed circuit boards) smaller and smaller to fit inside a camera. They used to design the flat and folded shape separately.
