The press release noted Daimler would integrate work from more than 20 development centers and their suppliers on a single product development platform beginning in the summer of 2012.<BR \/><BR \/>Last Friday, we had an internal Siemens town hall for employees with Siemens PLM President Chuck Grindstaff and Prof. Bharat Balasubramanian of Daimler  R&amp;D product innovation and process technology.<BR \/><BR \/><\/P><DIV style=\"background-color: #F9F9F9;border: 1px solid #CCCCCC;padding: 3px;font: 11px\/1.4em Arial, sans-serif;margin: 0.5em 0pt 0.5em 0.8em;width:502px;\"><A rel=\"attachment wp-att-4080 nofollow noopener noreferrer\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.industrysoftware.automation.siemens.com\/blog\/2010\/12\/16\/daimler-townhall\/dsc_0015-2\/\"><IMG class=\"size-full wp-image-4080    \" src=\"http:\/\/community.plm.automation.siemens.com\/legacyfs\/online\/wordpress\/images\/2010\/12\/Dsc_00151.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"502\" height=\"336\" \/><\/A><DIV style=\"text-align:center;\">Prof. Bharat discusses Daimlers selection of NX for CAD<\/DIV> <\/DIV><BR \/><BR \/>Chuck started the meeting by saying that after an extensive 18-month evaluation, we were chosen to help Daimler enhance their development processes and their production planning and therefore increase their productivity.  He said that Siemens PLM\u2019s secrets to success are:<BR \/><UL><BR \/>\t<LI>Listening to our customers and their needs<\/LI><BR \/>\t<LI>Providing modular\/open technology<\/LI><BR \/>\t<LI>Delivering the best products<\/LI><BR \/><\/UL><BR \/> <P> <\/P><P><BR \/><BR \/>Some of the key points addressed by Prof. Bharat were:<BR \/><UL><BR \/>\t<LI>Daimler has a long history of innovation.
