With lots happening right now with the <A href=\"http:\/\/www.siemens.com\/plm\/st3\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Solid Edge ST3 launch<\/A> yesterday and <A href=\"http:\/\/www.plm-europe.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">PLM Connection Europe<\/A> next week, I&#8217;ll share the interviews with you over the next couple of weeks. Uli spoke specifically to their entry into the medical industry. He noted the medical market&#8217;s 10% growth rate driven by aging baby boomers. The medical implant market should continue that growth because implants typically last 10-15 years and then need to be replaced. Thus the need for human spare parts.<BR \/><BR \/><A rel=\"attachment wp-att-3364 nofollow noopener noreferrer\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.industrysoftware.automation.siemens.com\/blog\/2010\/10\/12\/deckel-maho-gildemeister-dmg-move-into-medical\/dmg-complete-process-chain\/\"><IMG class=\"size-full wp-image-3364 alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/community.plm.automation.siemens.com\/legacyfs\/online\/wordpress\/images\/2010\/10\/DMG-complete-process-chain.jpg\" alt=\"SINUMERIK, &quot;NX CAM&quot;, DMG\" width=\"514\" height=\"352\" \/><\/A><BR \/><BR \/>Uli spoke about DMG&#8217;s complete process change that integrates Siemens technology. He noted DMG is focused on taking advantage of new materials and increased productivity with technology such as our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.plm.automation.siemens.com\/en_us\/products\/nx\/machining\/index.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">NX CAM<\/A> and high-tech manufacturing with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.automation.siemens.com\/mcms\/automation\/en\/automation-systems\/cnc-systems\/Pages\/Default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">SINUMERIK<\/A> controllers.
