MindSphere Partner Workshop and Hackathon

Last month the MindSphere Partner Solution Architect team launched an event series to enable our partners on MindSphere. The goals were to provide a detailed technical overview of MindSphere 3.0, provide hands on experience on connecting assets and building applications, and solicit feedback on MindSphere.

MindSphere 3.0

On March 22nd and 23rd, 11 developers from 7 MindSphere partners joined us in Nuremberg, Germany for the 1st MindSphere Partner Hackathon featuring version 3.0. The event was planned to get partner excited about the new features MindSphere now running on AWS and become comfortable with building applications. Senior MindSphere product managers and solution architects were on hand to share how to use the new APIs, Cloud Foundry and Connectivity. Teams had the opportunity to create some sample applications.
Partners include: Atos, AWS, Drucker, FPT, Eckelmann, Essert and Heitec.

Innovating together

The team headed to Bangalore India to host workshops and hackathons over two weeks for several global systems integrators including Tech Mahindra, HCL, TCS, and Wipro.  Some of the sample applications created were very creative. We received great input on the flexibility of MindSphere and constructive feedback to prioritize future development efforts.
