{"id":9203,"date":"2013-02-07T18:37:29","date_gmt":"2013-02-08T01:37:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.mentor.com\/hyperblog\/?p=1176"},"modified":"2026-03-27T09:19:52","modified_gmt":"2026-03-27T13:19:52","slug":"developing-confidence-in-your-analysis-tool-hyperlynx-9-0-demonstration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.sw.siemens.com\/electronic-systems-design\/2013\/02\/07\/developing-confidence-in-your-analysis-tool-hyperlynx-9-0-demonstration\/","title":{"rendered":"Developing Confidence in Your Analysis Tool &#8211; HyperLynx 9.0 Demonstration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week at <a href=\"http:\/\/designcon.com\/santaclara\/expo\/mentor.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DesignCon 2013<\/a>, I provided an <strong>Analysis<\/strong> <strong>Anchored to Reality <\/strong><strong>presentation<\/strong><strong> <\/strong>of the highlighting and validating the new features of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mentor.com\/products\/pcb-system-design\/blog\/post\/introducing-hyperlynx-9-0-fastest-time-to-accurate-results-64562b8b-716c-48dd-a511-7acae8d430f0?cmpid=7833\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>HyperLynx 9.0<\/strong><\/a>. Teledyne LeCroy, Molex, CCN, and Picosecond Pulse Labs partnered with us to provide measurement equipment, hardware to test, and a pattern generator for this demonstration. We started off with a correlation study so customers could see that the analysis results matched <em>reality<\/em>. This live analysis was performed in two steps.<\/p>\n<p>First, I used HyperLynx 9.0 to create a virtual prototype of the multi-board system which included 2d and 3d models for the trace interconnect, via\u2019s, and connector models.
