It&#8217;s incredibly straightforward: select the Inspector option on the toolbar, select <em>Characteristics <\/em>and apply your choices within the <em>Add Characteristics <\/em>dialog box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>At this point, all of the product characteristics tags will be assigned to all of the PMI in your dataset. In our use case, let&#8217;s take a closer look at the holes on the flange. There are eight separate instances for the hole, with the applied characteristics displayed within the sidebar. If you want to change the dimensions of an element in your model (in this case, changing the diameter of the hole), the PMI and characteristics will update accordingly. From here, we can focus on the best ways in which we can consume the characteristics for downstream purposes.
