Manage multiple users waiving results simultaneously? Calibre PERC automated waiving provides the functionality you need, with Calibre confidence in the results.

It’s not a secret anymore…well, it never was, but in case you hadn’t heard, the Calibre® PERC™ reliability platform provides automated waivers management that finds and marks waivable reliability errors, so they can be excluded from further debugging. Translation: saving you time and resources!

The Calibre PERC platform supports waivers for both the IP and full-chip level. Once you establish your waiver criteria, you can either write your own waivers description file, or let the Calibre PERC platform create it automatically by marking the selected error results in the Calibre RVE™ interface. Then all you have to do is initiate a Calibre PERC run using the waivers file as input. The Calibre PERC process applies the defined waivers to the topological results, creating two results sets: waived and un-waived. Once you validate that the waivers were properly applied, all that’s left is to debug the (now-smaller) set of un-waived results.

But it gets even better! The Calibre PERC platform also supports multiple users waiving Calibre PERC results in the same results database directory. Each user produces a “delta” waiver file, then these files are collected by a single user and collated into a final unified set of results waivers. This multi-user flow can easily be implemented and managed using the Calibre RVE interface for Calibre PERC runs. Can you imagine how quickly you’ll get through your waiver management?

If you’d like more information (with pictures!), download a copy of our white paper, Waiver management with Calibre PERC reliability verification.
