The Hyperloop idea was born.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Although Elon Musk described the idea, he is not developing a commercial Hyperloop system. Instead, he created various competitions to encourage students and engineers to develop prototype pods.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>One of those teams is the Hyperloop <a href=\"https:\/\/tumhyperloop.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Team <\/A>from the Technical University in Munich (TUM). So far, they stormed to victory in three competitions with the fastest pod. Aside from being the fastest in the tube, what makes this team so special is that it consists of 45 members from 16 different countries and seven different faculties.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P><span class=\"lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline\" style=\"width: 800px;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.sw.siemens.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2019\/09\/Team-1.jpg\" alt=\"Team.jpg\" title=\"Team.jpg\" \/><\/span><\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>To support these ambitious students, Siemens equipped the team with real-world software, comprehensive training and implementation support from <a href=\"https:\/\/community.plm.automation.siemens.com\/t5\/Academic-News\/Teams-test-Hyperloop-pods-in-Southern-California\/ba-p\/388374\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">start<\/A> to <a href=\"https:\/\/community.plm.automation.siemens.com\/t5\/Academic-News\/Elon-Musk-s-SpaceX-Hyperloop-Competition-Speeds-Up\/ba-p\/430036\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">finish<\/A>.
