FIRST Robotics competitors can\nreceive special recognition for their knowledge and proficiency with NX\u2122 and\nSolid Edge\u2122 software with new certifications at no cost.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

FIRST inspires young people to become science and technology leaders and innovators through engaging, real-world engineering challenges. Participation in FIRST is proven to encourage students to pursue education and careers in STEM-related fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re excited to partner with FIRST Robotics<\/a> for the 2020 competition to benefit tomorrow\u2019s engineers today. In addition to software, funding, curriculum and mentoring, Siemens is now offering FIRST Robotics participants no-cost certifications in Solid Edge\u2122 and NX\u2122. Participants can get recognized as a Solid Edge Certified Professional<\/a> and\/or an NX Certified Academic<\/a> for their proficiency and knowledge of Solid Edge\u2122 or NX\u2122.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certification is achieved through an online exam that tests the skills and knowledge of professionals and students who are experienced users of Solid Edge\u2122 or NX\u2122 software. Certification enhances the competitive edge and reputation of both users and organizations, and provides an industry recognized credential that both professionals and students can use to enhance their careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are three levels of Solid Edge Certification and the exams\nare available in English, Chinese and Spanish. There is currently one\ncertification for NX that is suitable for both students and faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
